Project Manager – HSE Transformation & Portfolio Management

About the Role: As a Project Manager A, you will lead complex multidisciplinary HSE projects from initial concept through implementation and operational integration. You will work closely with safety specialists, operational departments, support functions, and external stakeholders to ensure strategic initiatives are delivered successfully. This role requires strong project governance capabilities, change management expertise, and the ability to translate strategic objectives and regulatory requirements into practical, measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities: Lead multidisciplinary HSE projects from initiation through implementation and operational handover. Develop project plans, business cases, budgets, and approaches aligned with strategic and legal requirements. Manage project governance, risks, scope, planning, and expected benefits. Coordinate stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams across operations, HSE, and support departments. Drive transformation, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives within industrial environments.

Requirements: HBO/WO degree in Engineering, Safety Management, Business Administration, Environmental Sciences, or a related field. Extensive experience in project/program management, preferably within complex industrial or manufacturing environments. Proven expertise in transformation, change management, risk management, and project governance. Strong stakeholder management and experience leading multidisciplinary teams. Fluent in Dutch and English, with a valid VCA VOL certificate.
