Omschrijving
Our client, a major player in the telecommunications sector, is seeking a professional to lead infrastructure deployment projects. This role combines hands-on operational delivery with the strategic development of project governance and standardized ways of working. The position focuses on coordinating feeder infrastructure through its full lifecycle while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. Responsibilities include coordinating infrastructure projects from intake through construction readiness, managing project planning, permits and stakeholder alignment, identifying process bottlenecks, acting as central point of contact, and ensuring documentation and dependencies are finalized.
Requirements include 5+ years of project management in infrastructure/telecom/utility/construction, managing multiple concurrent projects, process improvement and governance, stakeholder management, permitting processes, a proactive mindset, and fluency in Dutch and English.
Nice to have: knowledge of fiber/feeder networks, GIS tooling or GIPOD, VCA certification, and change management/KPI experience.
Offer: start ASAP, duration 6 months, full-time, location Mechelen, working model onsite (maximum presence required) – note the header lists 'Fulltime, Hybrid' but the offer explicitly states onsite. Contract open to both permanent employees and freelancers (structured data indicates freelance).
