Prompt Engineering & Agentic AI Developer

LINKIT is looking for a hands-on Medior Agentic AI Developer to build AI-driven digital employee experiences. You will combine prompt engineering, agentic AI and JavaScript development to create secure, scalable and user-friendly solutions that help employees find information, complete tasks and access services through natural language. ServiceNow experience is a plus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test and maintain LLM, prompt-driven and agentic AI solutions. - Develop and optimize prompts using grounding, context management, structured outputs, guardrails and evaluation. - Design agent workflows that use tools and enterprise data, maintain context and handle human handovers. - Develop JavaScript applications, services, UI components, automations and integrations. - Integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms and data through REST APIs. - Build conversational experiences for knowledge discovery, service requests and contextual guidance. - Define and execute evaluations for quality, reliability, relevance, safety and consistency. - Apply Responsible AI and secure development principles, including access control, data protection, traceability and human oversight. - Translate business needs into technical requirements, prototypes and production-ready solutions. - Improve self-service, automation and resolution times while reducing avoidable ticket volume. - Work in an Agile/DevOps environment and contribute to testing, troubleshooting, documentation and continuous improvement.

Requirements: - Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in IT, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science or Information Security. - 3+ years of experience in software development, automation, conversational applications or AI-enabled solutions. - Strong hands-on JavaScript development skills. - Practical experience with LLM prompt engineering, including prompt design, grounding, testing, evaluation, guardrails and reliability. - Experience with Agentic AI, AI assistants, autonomous workflows, tool-using agents or multi-step LLM applications. - Understanding of REST APIs, authentication, error handling and JSON. - Experience with testing, debugging, version control and release practices. - Ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions. - Experience with Agile/Scrum and DevOps. - Fluent Dutch and English, spoken and written.

Nice to have: - Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry or comparable enterprise AI platforms. - Agent orchestration, RAG, vector search, knowledge grounding or AI evaluation tooling. - ServiceNow experience, including Employee Center, Virtual Agent, Now Assist, AI Search or Flow Designer. - Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, GRC or enterprise workflow management. - Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments. - UX/UI collaboration experience. - Relevant AI, Cloud, JavaScript, ServiceNow, ITIL, IT4IT or SIAM certifications.
