QA Supervisor

Vivid Resourcing is seeking a QA Supervisor for its client to join the delivery team on major civil works for the Antwerp ring road and tunnel. The project is one of the most significant infrastructure schemes in Belgium. The successful candidate will supervise quality on site across the civil works packages, which may include earthworks, structures, concrete works and tunnel construction. The role involves working closely with site engineers, construction managers, subcontractors and the client’s representatives, so that inspections, testing and documentation are planned and completed correctly.

Main responsibilities include: supervising QA/QC activities, implementing and maintaining the project quality plan and ITPs, carrying out site inspections, monitoring materials testing, raising and closing out NCRs, reviewing subcontractor documentation, keeping accurate quality records, supporting audits, and reporting quality performance.

Essential requirements: proven experience in a QA/QC supervisor role on civil engineering or infrastructure projects, experience on major road, tunnel, bridge or other heavy civil works, good working knowledge of ITPs, NCR processes, inspection regimes and quality documentation, understanding of quality management systems such as ISO 9001, ability to read drawings and specifications, and clear communication.

Desirable: relevant qualification in civil engineering, experience with tunnelling works or large concrete structures, knowledge of European and Belgian construction standards, and experience with digital quality management systems. The offer is a contract role on a major infrastructure project in Antwerp, with start date, duration and rate to be confirmed.
