Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our client’s team in Maasdam. This full-time role is crucial for supporting, monitoring, and enhancing the company’s quality management systems, ensuring products and processes meet all relevant standards.
Responsibilities: Manage, maintain, and improve the quality management system; Conduct internal audits and support external audits and inspections; Analyze quality deviations, complaints, and trends; drive corrective actions; Assist with root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA initiatives; Ensure compliance with applicable laws and certification standards such as HACCP, BRCGS, IFS, and FSSC 22000; Develop, update, and manage procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation; Advise production and operations on quality and food safety issues; Monitor KPIs and report on quality performance; Coordinate with suppliers on quality and raw material issues.
Requirements: HBO-level education, preferred in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field; At least 2 years’ experience in Quality Assurance, ideally in the food or dairy industry; Knowledge of quality management systems and food safety standards (HACCP, BRCGS, IFS, FSSC 22000); Experience with audits, deviation management, and continuous improvement; Strong analytical skills and structured approach; Good communication skills in Dutch and English; Proactive, flexible, and capable of working independently and within a team; Strong stakeholder management and prioritization skills.
