Quality Engineering Specialist

Our client is a science-driven organization operating in a highly regulated, technical manufacturing environment. Quality and compliance are central to their way of working, with strong focus on robust processes, continuous improvement, and collaboration across engineering and operations teams. For this position, our client is looking for a Quality Engineering Specialist to support product and process quality across the production lifecycle. The role is hands-on and detail-oriented, working closely with a skilled technical team to ensure quality standards are consistently met and improved.

The specialist will be present on-site part of the week and will contribute directly to quality engineering activities that influence day-to-day deliverables.

Responsibilities: Support and execute quality engineering activities in a technical/production environment. Contribute to maintaining and improving quality processes and ways of working. Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure standards are applied consistently throughout the production cycle. Identify opportunities for process and quality improvements, using a structured and data-driven approach. Perform practical, detail-focused checks and follow-up actions to ensure deliverables meet expectations.

Collaborate with the wider team to support continuous improvement and stable execution.

Requirements: Proven experience in quality engineering or a closely related quality role in a technical setting. Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving. Comfortable working hands-on and being on-site part of the week (approx. 2 days). Confident communication skills in English (Dutch is preferred). Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively with engineering/operations stakeholders.
