Role Description: The Regional Cost & Asset Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing project financials and fixed asset management, primarily supporting capital projects and ensuring accurate asset records. Based in Dordrecht, Netherlands, this role involves working closely with project teams to control costs, manage financial reporting, and coordinate fixed asset activities across multiple sites in the region. Responsibilities: Prepare and review monthly project financial reports, including capital expenditures, field costs, equipment, and contingencies. Lead financial reviews for major and minor projects, analyzing progress and deviations. Maintain and process change logs and document approvals aligned with company policies. Develop expenditure forecasts, considering currency fluctuations and project scope changes. Support project teams with cost transfer requests and manage financial documentation for audits. Oversee the fixed asset process, ensuring proper tagging, disposal, transfer, and record keeping. Coordinate physical asset verifications and communicate with relevant internal and third-party teams. Serve as a link to the Asset Management group for asset sales or redeployment. Assist in the Capex reconciliation process, supporting internal and external audits. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and adapt quickly. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are a plus. Demonstrated experience in cost control for capital projects, ideally in the chemical or related industry, with over 10 years of relevant experience.
