I’m currently recruiting on behalf of an RBCA client who is looking to appoint an experienced Class 2D+ Building Control Plan Checker on a flexible, part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Building Control professional who is looking for remote working, flexible hours and a competitive hourly rate. The role involves Class 2D+ Building Control Plan Checker, fully remote, 10–20 hours per week, up to £40 per hour depending on experience, flexible working arrangements, working with an RBCA client, and opportunity for an ongoing position. The ideal candidate will have Class 2D+ Building Control competence, relevant RBCA registration, strong experience in plan checking and Building Regulations compliance, a good working knowledge of the current Building Regulations and Approved Documents, the ability to work independently and manage your own workload, and excellent attention to detail and communication skills. This role would suit someone currently working in Building Control who is looking to supplement their existing workload, as well as professionals seeking a genuinely flexible remote opportunity.
