If the candidate is currently working at, or has recently working at Rabobank, we would appreciate receiving the name and job title of the relevant team lead; Language: English and Dutch mandatory; ZZP Allowed: No. We are looking for an experienced and highly driven Road Manager Security to lead and drive strategic cyber security initiatives across the Rabobank organization. In this role, you will be responsible for taking security initiatives from initial concept and business case through execution, adoption and successful implementation.

You will operate across the Security Services domain, including Security Operations Center (SOC), Vulnerability Management, Security Testing, Detection Engineering and related security capabilities. As a Road Manager Security, you act as the connecting link between business stakeholders, security specialists, architects, delivery teams and senior leadership. You ensure that security initiatives are aligned with organizational objectives, governed effectively and delivered with measurable results.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines program management, stakeholder engagement, governance and execution. You are equally comfortable presenting strategic roadmaps to senior management as you are working with technical teams to remove delivery blockers and accelerate implementation.

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Roadmap Management; Develop, maintain and drive multi-year security roadmaps aligned with Rabobank's security strategy and risk objectives; Translate strategic priorities into concrete initiatives, plans, milestones and measurable outcomes; Identify dependencies, risks and opportunities across the broader security landscape; Initiative and Program Delivery; Lead multiple concurrent security initiatives from ideation through implementation and operational handover; Ensure effective governance, planning, reporting and decision-making structures; Monitor progress, budgets, benefits realization and overall delivery performance; Escalate risks and issues where necessary and proactively drive mitigation actions; Stakeholder Management; Build strong relationships across business, IT and security domains; Facilitate alignment between senior leadership, product owners, architects and delivery teams; Manage competing priorities and drive consensus across a complex stakeholder landscape; Provide concise and impactful reporting to management and executive stakeholders; Security Domain Leadership; Act as a trusted advisor on cyber security-related initiatives and transformation activities; Understand industry best practices, regulatory requirements and emerging threats; Ensure that strategic initiatives contribute to improving Rabobank's overall security posture; Hands-on Execution; Take ownership and drive actions to completion when required; Support teams in removing operational bottlenecks and accelerating delivery; Maintain a pragmatic, results-oriented approach focused on achieving outcomes rather than managing process alone; Required Experience and Qualifications.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project, program or portfolio management within large and complex organizations; Proven track record of delivering large-scale cyber security initiatives and transformations; Demonstrated experience working in highly regulated environments and large enterprise landscapes; Extensive experience managing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams; Security Expertise; Strong knowledge of cyber security domains such as: Security Operations (SOC); Vulnerability Management; Security Testing; Detection Engineering; Threat Management; Risk and Compliance; Identity and Access Management.

Relevant industry certifications such as: CISSP; CISM; CRISC; CCSP; PMP / PRINCE2 / MSP (preferred).

Additional information: Work is done in a hybrid way, according to the Rabobank @anywhere principle; Due to increasing congestion at the Rabobank location on Croeselaan in Utrecht, a new parking policy will take effect from April 2026. From Monday to Thursday, external employees will no longer be able to park on the Croeselaan site. Only on Fridays will parking for externals still be possible; Please note: employment-freelance constructions are not allowed according to Rabobank policy.
