Salesforce Security & Data Privacy Specialist

Urgently searching for a Salesforce Security & Data Privacy Specialist! International Salesforce Transformation | Fully Remote | 24-40 hours per week. For an international organisation undergoing a large-scale Salesforce transformation, we are looking for an experienced Salesforce Security & Data Privacy Specialist. The organisation is consolidating two Salesforce environments into one unified platform. A key challenge is ensuring consistent security standards and GDPR compliance, as one of the existing environments does not yet meet the required privacy standards.

You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance, oversight and expertise to the internal Salesforce team and external implementation partners.

Your responsibilities: Advise on Salesforce security architecture, data privacy and GDPR compliance. Review existing security configurations, including permission sets, profiles, sharing rules and access controls. Provide guidance on Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity management. Identify security and privacy risks during the consolidation of two Salesforce orgs. Review proposed designs and solutions to ensure alignment with security and compliance requirements.

Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, business stakeholders and external implementation partners. Act as a trusted advisor, providing oversight rather than taking responsibility for hands-on development.

Your profile: Extensive experience with Salesforce administration, consulting or security architecture. Strong knowledge of Salesforce security, access management and data privacy. Experience with GDPR requirements in Salesforce environments. Ability to advise stakeholders and challenge proposed solutions where necessary. Experience working in international transformation programmes. Excellent English communication skills. A pragmatic, independent and collaborative approach.

Hands-on Salesforce configuration experience is an advantage, but not essential. Practical expertise and relevant project experience are more important than certifications.

Assignment details: Start: Early January 2027, potentially December 2026.

Duration: Initially 3 months, with an option to extend.

Hours: 24-40 per week.

Location: 100% remote.
