SAP ABAP Developer

About the role: Our client is looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to support the development of their SAP roadmap and contribute to longer-term transformation initiatives. You will play an important role in shaping and delivering the future SAP landscape, working across ABAP development, modern SAP technologies, application development and integrations. The role would suit a technically strong SAP professional who can contribute to both ongoing development and the wider evolution of the client’s SAP environment.

The position is based in the Antwerp region, with a start date in October and flexibility around the exact start date.

Main responsibilities: Develop and maintain solutions using SAP ABAP; design and develop CDS Views to support modern SAP applications and data requirements; develop APIs and integrations across the SAP landscape; contribute to SAP Fiori development and application delivery; support SAP BTP application development; work with SAP Build Work Zone as part of the wider SAP application landscape; contribute to the definition and delivery of the client’s longer-term SAP roadmap; support transformation initiatives and the continued development of the SAP environment; work with relevant technical and business stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable SAP solutions.

Requirements: Strong hands-on experience with SAP ABAP development; experience working with CDS Views; experience with API development and SAP integrations; experience with SAP Fiori development; experience with SAP BTP application development; experience with SAP Build Work Zone; ability to contribute to wider SAP architecture, roadmap and transformation initiatives; strong communication and collaboration skills; Dutch language skills are strongly preferred.
