SAP FI/CO Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant for a major S/4HANA project. In this role, you will lead solution delivery across core Finance and Controlling processes, resolve complex Level 3 issues, and bridge business requirements with technical execution.

Key Responsibilities: Solution Design & Implementation: Deliver end-to-end functional solutions across SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling modules. L3 Support & System Optimization: Provide Level 3 expert support for complex system incidents, ensuring compliance with audit, tax, and regulatory controls.

Technical Alignment: Draft comprehensive functional specifications and work closely with ABAP developers and technical architects.

Business Partnering & Guidance: Act as a trusted advisor to Business Process Owners (BPOs) and key users; guide change management and end-user documentation.

Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of hands-on SAP FI/CO consulting and delivery experience. Solid track record in SAP S/4HANA Finance project implementations. Deep functional knowledge of core FI sub-modules (FI-GL, AP, AR, AA, BL). Strong command of Controlling and finance processes: month-end closing, Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Product Costing. Proven experience with Treasury and financial consolidation (SAP Group Reporting).

Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and guide user adoption.

Languages: Dutch: Fluent; English: Fluent; French: Professional proficiency is a strong plus.

Contract Details: Duration: 6 months initial contract, renewable.

On-site presence: 3 days per week on-site near Ghent (Belgium) is required.

Availability: Immediate start preferred.
