SAP Master Data Specialist – Packaging & EPR Reporting

Our client, a prominent player in the industrial manufacturing sector, is looking for an operational expert to manage packaging master data and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) reporting. This role focuses on maintaining data accuracy within SAP systems while ensuring the timely processing of international environmental compliance reports.

Responsibilities: Review and optimize existing packaging master data within SAP to ensure accuracy and completeness. Collect and verify technical packaging components and dimensions directly from suppliers. Create and maintain packaging data for new product launches in collaboration with R&D and Purchasing. Prepare EPR reporting data for multiple European countries using standardized internal templates. Execute operational reporting by entering data into official portals such as Valipac and Fost Plus.

Follow up with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies in packaging information and data quality.

Requirements: You have professional experience working with SAP, specifically SAP MM or material master data management. You possess strong proficiency in Excel and general data processing techniques. You bring a background in logistics, supply chain, or a technical administrative environment. You have a structured way of working with a strong focus on data quality and process discipline. You're able to independently identify missing technical information and coordinate with stakeholders to obtain it.

Nice to Haves: Experience with packaging BOMs and complex packaging structures. Previous exposure to EPR reporting in a production or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Valipac, Fost Plus, or similar environmental reporting systems. Basic understanding of PPWR or European packaging regulatory requirements.

Offer: Start date: 2027.

Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension.

Work regime: Full-time.
