Eisen
- Hands-on experience with blood collection by tail vein, saphenous vein, and cardiac puncture, as well as animal autopsy/dissection, microsurgery, perfusion, and tissue collection
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

- Experience with adherence to animal welfare and compliance regulations
- Master's degree in biomedical sciences, Biotechnology, Biology, Genetic Engineering, Biochemistry, Laboratory Sciences, or related disciplines; or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences with minimum 6 months laboratory-based experience
- Flexibility to perform occasional weekend, evening, and holiday dosing or animal monitoring
- Hands-on experience with drug administration by subcutaneous, intraperitoneal, intravenous tail vein injections, and oral gavage
- Mandatory completion of laboratory animal research training courses accredited by FELASA (category B or C certificate) or similar foreign certification
- Hands-on experience with animal handling in oncology-relevant rodent models, including subcutaneous and orthotopic tumour implantation, compound dosing, tumour measurement, health monitoring, data collection and analysis
Wensen
- Strong data analysis and data management skills
- Cell culture experience, including cancer or immune cells
- Proficiency with FlowJo software, GraphPad Prism, and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of molecular biology techniques and background in Immunology

Scientist R&D - Interventional Oncology at Johnson & Johnson in Beerse, Belgium.
Working mode: On-site.
Duration: 12 months initially.
Hours: 40 hours/week (100% FTE preferred, 80% / 4 days/week considered). The role is part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of 16 scientists in exploratory immuno-oncology, focusing on evaluation and understanding of new drug concepts in vitro and in vivo. Responsibilities include performing active, hands-on in vivo experimentation (70% of time), conducting in vitro human and ex vivo mouse immunology experiments (15% of time), maintaining experimental records, attending meetings, and performing day-to-day lab tasks.
Requirements: Master's in biomedical sciences or related, or Bachelor's with 6 months lab experience; mandatory FELASA B or C certification; required hands-on experience with animal handling in oncology rodent models, drug administration routes, blood collection, autopsy/dissection, animal welfare compliance; preferred cell culture experience, strong data analysis skills, molecular biology knowledge, proficiency with FlowJo, GraphPad Prism, and Microsoft Office; proactive and adaptable personality; excellent communication in English; flexibility for occasional weekend/evening/holiday work.
