Senior Ab Initio Metadata Hub Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Ab Initio Metadata Hub Engineer with deep hands-on experience in Ab Initio Metadata Hub (MHub) to design and implement enterprise-scale metadata solutions. You will enable data discovery, governance, cataloging, lineage and data product management, while integrating Metadata Hub with Data Catalogs, Data Marketplaces, Governance Platforms and custom applications.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop and support enterprise solutions using Ab Initio Metadata Hub, EME and related capabilities. Implement metadata ingestion, cataloging, business glossary, stewardship and governance workflows. Develop technical and business lineage, impact analysis and metadata-driven automation. Design metadata models covering data products, business terms, ownership, classifications and governance. Build API-driven integrations and bidirectional metadata synchronization with Data Marketplaces, Catalogs and custom applications.

Expose and integrate metadata such as lineage, glossary, ownership, certification and governance information. Collaborate with data architects, governance teams, platform engineers and business stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio Metadata Hub (MHub) and EME. Experience with metadata harvesting, lineage, impact analysis and stewardship. Strong knowledge of Enterprise Metadata Management, Data Catalogs, Business Glossaries and Data Governance. Proven experience integrating Metadata Hub with Data Marketplaces, Data Catalogs or custom applications. Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, metadata services and integration architecture.

SQL, data modeling, Linux/Unix and shell scripting. Experience with cloud and modern data platforms.

Preferred: Banking / Financial Services experience. Data Mesh, Data Products or Enterprise Data Marketplace experience. Experience with regulatory and compliance-driven data initiatives. Knowledge of Service Mesh concepts.

Non-negotiable requirement: Candidates must have hands-on experience using Ab Initio Metadata Hub as a metadata platform and integrating it with enterprise Data Marketplaces, Data Catalogs or custom applications through APIs and metadata services. This is a core requirement. The preferred start date is as soon as possible, subject to successful DISA/PES + Bank screening and completion of the onboarding process.
