A major Belgian insurer in Brussels needs a Senior AI IT Risk & Compliance Consultant as it moves toward an AI-enabled IT model. You help IT, data, architecture and digital teams identify and manage risks around AI adoption — including generative AI and third-party AI services — while strengthening compliance with the AI Act, DORA, GDPR, CRA and related operational-resilience and cybersecurity expectations.
Responsibilities include strengthening the ICT and AI risk-management framework, supporting Business Risk Assessments covering operational, cyber, regulatory, contractual and fraud risks, defining remediation plans, contributing to AI governance implementation, and advising on critical supplier management. Work is located in Brussels centre with typically 2 days per week at the office (remote/telework from Belgium only). Duration is 12 months with extension possible.
