Senior Assembler

About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Assembler. You will assemble mechanical and mechatronic modules and complete machines according to customer specifications and technical drawings. The position suits someone who enjoys hands on technical work, understands both technical and logistical processes and can identify and resolve mechanical assembly issues.

Responsibilities: Assemble mechanical and mechatronic modules and complete machines according to customer specifications; read and work from technical drawings; complete assembly activities according to required lead times and standard working times; safely operate industrial equipment where required and certified; inspect, calibrate and adjust dynamic machine functions during test runs; follow assembly, checklist and disassembly procedures; identify technical faults, quality concerns and assembly problems; escalate technical problems and issues involving delivery time, quality or capacity to the Team Leader; provide feedback regarding manufacturability and reproducibility of machines; identify opportunities to improve working methods and processes; collaborate with other departments when required; participate in work discussion meetings; follow applicable health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.

Requirements: Secondary education in a relevant technical discipline; experience or strong affinity with mechanical or mechatronic machine assembly; experience reading and interpreting technical drawings; strong technical understanding; good logistical understanding; practical mechanical experience; strong problem solving skills; ability to work accurately according to instructions and schedules; focus on quality and customer requirements; good verbal and written English or relevant local language skills; comfortable working within a multicultural and multidisciplinary organization; food processing industry experience is an advantage; mechanical interests or technically oriented hobbies are an advantage.
