Eisen
- 8+ years of experience in database administration with SQL Server and T-SQL
- Proven expertise in performance troubleshooting using Azure Monitor, Query Store, and Extended Events
- Strong knowledge of Azure KeyVault, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery strategies
- Experience with cloud platform components including Azure Landing Zones, Private Endpoints, and Managed Identities
- 5+ years designing and deploying infrastructure using Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps
- Good command of English combined with a good knowledge of Dutch or French
- Technical leader with a proactive, solution-oriented attitude and strong collaboration skills
- 5+ years of cloud database engineering experience focusing on Azure SQL Database and Cosmos DB
Wensen
- Experience with data modeling tools like Erwin or Azure Purview
- Experience in highly regulated environments and building database governance frameworks
- Understanding of TOGAF or Archimate frameworks
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, SQL Sentry, or Redgate
- Knowledge of SQL Managed Instance, Azure Functions, or AKS

Our client, a leading organization in the insurance sector, is seeking a specialist to modernize and industrialize their cloud database platforms. This role involves designing, automating, and securing enterprise-grade database services in Azure while transitioning traditional practices toward a cloud-native engineering model.
Responsibilities include: designing and deploying enterprise-grade database services within cloud landing zones, focusing on networking, security, and high availability; establishing governance and data modeling standards for CosmosDB and NoSQL environments; industrializing data refresh, masking, and scrambling solutions; developing and maintaining reusable deployment frameworks using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines; performing performance analysis, troubleshooting, and capacity planning; and providing technical leadership and coaching.
Requirements: 8+ years in database administration with SQL Server and T-SQL; 5+ years in cloud database engineering with Azure SQL Database and Cosmos DB; 5+ years designing and deploying infrastructure using Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps; experience with Azure Landing Zones, Private Endpoints, and Managed Identities; expertise in performance troubleshooting using Azure Monitor, Query Store, and Extended Events; strong knowledge of Azure KeyVault, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery; technical leadership and collaboration skills; good command of English and Dutch or French.
