Volledige omschrijving
The assignment is for 36 hours per week, starting 29 September 2026 and ending 29 September 2027, with possible extension. ZZP is not allowed, hybrid way of work. Dutch is preferred but not mandatory, and relocation is not possible for this role. The Business Developer Cash Pooling operates within Daily Products – Transaction Banking, in the Value Domain Insurance, Interest Calculation & Cash Pooling. The assignment focuses on the development, management and continuous improvement of cash-pooling propositions for business and corporate clients, including Balance Compensation, Target Balancing, Notional Pooling, intercompany-loan administration and digital self-service.
The professional translates client needs, commercial objectives, regulatory requirements and technological developments into value propositions, processes, requirements and end-to-end solutions. Activities include contributing to product strategy, vision, roadmap and portfolio steering; analysing client, product and process data; preparing scenarios, impact analyses, business cases, decision documents and implementation plans; simplifying, standardising, digitising and automating processes; coordinating implementations across the value chain; maintaining product and process documentation; supporting pricing, product reviews, risk management, controls and audit findings; and actively managing stakeholders, dependencies, risks and impediments.
The role requires close collaboration with Business Development, Product Ownership, IT, Operations, Sales, Client Units, Treasury, Risk and Compliance in a multidisciplinary BizDevOps environment. With the following results (SMART): A validated and prioritised overview of the cash-pooling propositions, customer journeys, processes, systems, risks, controls and improvement opportunities, aligned with the relevant business, IT, Operations, Risk and Compliance stakeholders.
Clearly documented requirements, impact analyses and a coherent delivery roadmap for agreed improvements, including owners, dependencies, milestones and measurable success indicators. Decision-ready business cases and implementation plans for changes to cash-pooling products and processes, covering customer impact, operational impact, risk, compliance, costs and expected benefits. Coordinated implementation of prioritised improvements across the value chain, demonstrably contributing to customer value, quality, efficiency, control and/or shorter lead times.
Accurate and up-to-date product documentation, process descriptions, work instructions and customer or employee information for all implemented changes. Transparent progress reporting throughout the assignment, providing clear insight into achieved results, decisions, risks, dependencies, impediments and mitigating actions.
Requirements include: Higher professional education (HBO) or university (WO) level of working and thinking; experience in, or demonstrable affinity with, business development, product management, process management or change management; affinity with business banking products, transaction banking, cash management or liquidity management (knowledge of cash pooling, Target Balancing, Notional Pooling, interest and balance compensation or intercompany-loan administration is an advantage); ability to translate client and business needs into value propositions, requirements and feasible end-to-end solutions; strong analytical skills and experience with qualitative and quantitative analyses, impact assessments and business cases; ability to understand complex processes, systems and dependencies and to convert insights into concrete improvements; affinity with IT, digitalisation, data and Agile or BizDevOps ways of working; proven stakeholder-management and advisory skills in a complex, multidisciplinary environment; ownership, organisational sensitivity and a proactive, customer-focused and solution-oriented approach; strong awareness of compliance, operational risk and control requirements; excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English; and ability to create support, set priorities, communicate transparently and give and receive constructive feedback.
This is a structural assignment within Daily Products – Transaction Banking and concerns a specialist product area that is critical to business and corporate clients. The professional will work across the full product lifecycle, from analysis and prioritisation through implementation and operational management, in close cooperation with business, IT and Operations. The environment involves many internal and external stakeholders and requires clear communication in both Dutch and English.
The assignment offers substantial variety across product development, process improvement, data analysis, stakeholder management, implementation, risk management and ongoing product control. Candidates with relevant transaction-banking or cash-management experience are preferred; however, demonstrable motivation and the ability to build specialist cash-pooling knowledge quickly are also important.
