Senior Buyer a.i.

The Senior Buyer a.i. will be responsible for sourcing activities, supplier management, and procurement projects within a dynamic international manufacturing environment. This position offers a combination of strategic procurement responsibilities and hands-on execution. A manufacturing and production organization in Venlo is looking to strengthen its procurement team with an experienced Senior Buyer. In this role as Senior Buyer a.i. you will: Manage supplier relationships and commercial negotiations.

Lead sourcing and tendering processes across multiple spend categories. Identify and implement cost-saving and value creation initiatives. Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement. Support procurement and cross-functional business projects. Collaborate closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering stakeholders. Ensure supply continuity and manage procurement-related risks. Contribute to category management and strategic sourcing initiatives.

Support the ongoing professionalization of procurement processes. Maintain market knowledge and identify supplier innovation opportunities. Requirements for the Senior Buyer a.i. role: Proven experience as a Senior Buyer in a manufacturing, industrial, or technical environment, Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Experience leading sourcing projects and contract negotiations. Commercially driven and capable of working independently.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Flexible and adaptable in a changing environment. Fluent in English. Registered as ZZP and based in the Netherlands. What's on Offer: Start date: ASAP, Contract for 4-6 months, Full time, Hybrid.
