Senior Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Data Engineer to support the implementation of Microsoft Fabric, guide the internal team on best practices, and transfer knowledge through structured coaching and training. Initially, you will drive the implementation, build the foundation, set up pipelines, and demonstrate optimal approaches.

Key Responsibilities: Support end-to-end Microsoft Fabric implementation, from foundation to production. Design and build a Medallion Architecture in Fabric following best practices. Develop scalable, reliable data pipelines using Python notebooks and Fabric Data Engineering tools. Integrate Power BI DevOps practices into the data development workflow. Provide hands-on coaching, workshops, and knowledge-transfer sessions. Collaborate with stakeholders and ensure smooth handover for long-term ownership.

About You: Proven experience implementing Microsoft Fabric in production. Strong track record with Medallion Architectures, data pipelines, and Fabric-based solutions. Proficiency in Python, notebooks, and modern data engineering workflows. Familiarity with Power BI, DevOps practices, and tools. Excellent communication and training skills. Hands-on problem solver and team player. Dutch or French professional working proficiency; English full professional.
