Our client, a global IT leader, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Event Logistics Specialist to join their dynamic team. The role is part of the Events and Logistics department supporting high-profile VIP events and team management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and strong leadership qualities. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive event plans with timelines, budgets, and resource allocation; overseeing cross-functional teams; identifying, contracting, and managing a network of reliable vendors such as caterers, AV providers, and transportation services; coordinating all logistical aspects of events including setup, breakdown, transportation, and on-site management; and managing event budgets with financial reporting to leadership. Required skills include extensive experience in event management, vendor coordination, and team leadership; strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously; excellent negotiation skills; proven ability to develop contingency plans and manage risks; and knowledge of legal, regulatory, and organizational policies related to event planning and logistics.
