- Foundational understanding of development principles such as OO, .NET, and MVC architecture
- 8+ years of experience in design and modeling using UML and BPMN
- 8+ years of experience in business and functional analysis within Agile or Scrum environments
- 2+ years of experience working with tools such as Sparx EA, Draw.io, Confluence, and JIRA
- Fluent in English with C1 level in French or Dutch and B1 level in the other language
- Experience with RDBMS including SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
- Proactive, stress-resistant, and able to integrate easily into a team

- Experience with billing and invoicing applications
- Knowledge of the railway sector or transport infrastructure
- Experience drafting functional and technical documentation like user guides and work instructions

Our client, a leading organization in the transport and infrastructure sector, is seeking a seasoned professional to join their team. The project focuses on translating complex stakeholder requirements into functional and technical specifications for specialized invoicing and track management systems.
Responsibilities include: identifying and documenting business requirements, analyzing existing processes, developing detailed functional specifications, defining data models, collaborating with development teams, designing and executing test cases, and conducting impact analyses.
Requirements: 8+ years in business and functional analysis within Agile/Scrum, 8+ years in UML and BPMN, 2+ years with Sparx EA, Draw.io, Confluence, JIRA, experience with RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL), foundational understanding of OO, .NET, MVC, proactive and stress-resistant, fluent English with C1 French or Dutch and B1 in the other.
Nice to haves: documentation experience, railway sector knowledge, billing/invoicing experience.
Offer: start date 15-12-2026, duration 5 years, full-time, location Brussels, onsite including 24/7 on-call rotation, contract open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
