Eisen
- Strong experience with Mechanical Static Equipment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
- Strong communication and coordination skills in an international project environment.
- Experience with detailed engineering, equipment specifications and technical calculations.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience within the Oil & Gas, offshore, petrochemical or energy industry.
- Able to independently take ownership of a technical scope and make sound engineering decisions.
- Experience working with vendors, subcontractors and other engineering disciplines.
- Knowledge of relevant international codes, standards and engineering practices.
- Understanding of inspection, testing, commissioning, reliability, operability and safety requirements.
Wensen
- Experience with Package Engineering and the engineering/procurement/manufacturing process is highly desirable.
- Experience in leading engineers or acting as a Discipline Lead is an advantage.
Omschrijving
As an Engineer in the petrochemical sector, you play a leading role in the design, development and improvement of a plant and you work closely together on the largest projects. Together with a team of experts, you will provide efficient and sustainable solutions that meet the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the engineering and technical design of mechanical equipment within complex industrial and offshore projects.
- Develop and optimize engineering solutions in line with project specifications, international codes, industry standards and safety requirements.
- Take ownership of the assigned scope, including planning, technical deliverables, interfaces and overall progress.
- Develop and review technical specifications and support the selection and evaluation of mechanical equipment and suppliers.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and other external parties throughout the engineering, procurement and manufacturing phases.
- Act as Package Engineer where required, taking technical responsibility for an equipment package from design and procurement through to manufacturing.
- Work closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure proper technical integration and interface management.
- Ensure lessons learned and design changes are appropriately incorporated into the engineering scope.
- Provide technical guidance to engineers and designers and, where required, take responsibility as Discipline Lead.
- Contribute to safe, reliable, maintainable and efficient solutions, with a strong focus on quality and project requirements.
Requirements:
