Senior .NET Technical Lead – Enterprise Architecture & Development

Our client, a public organization within the agriculture and fisheries sector, is seeking a Senior ICT Expert to lead technical improvements across their IT landscape. The role involves driving organization-wide strategic enhancements while maintaining a hands-on presence within a development team to ensure technical excellence in the context of large-scale policy implementation.

Responsibilities: Identify and analyze cross-departmental technical challenges across development, operations, and architecture teams. Propose and implement organization-wide technical solutions and architectural improvements. Foster cross-pollination of knowledge and best practices between different IT teams and business stakeholders. Develop and maintain complex business applications as a key member of a dedicated software project team. Act as a technical mentor, staying updated on industry trends and transferring expertise to colleagues.

Drive the technical roadmap for software projects within an Agile environment.

Requirements: 8+ years of expert experience in backend development using C# and .NET. 8+ years of experience as a Technical Lead, with at least 4 years in organization-wide or enterprise-level environments. 5+ years of experience with ASP.NET MVC. 3+ years of frontend development using Angular or AngularJS. Expertise in modern web services and frameworks including ASP.NET Core and ASP.NET Web API. Extensive knowledge of Entity Framework 6, WCF, and relational databases.

Deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns. You are proactive, solution-oriented, and demonstrate the initiative to drive technical innovation. You are Native in Dutch.

Nice to haves: Experience with unit testing. Knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. Experience with frontend styling tools such as Angular Material, CSS, and Bootstrap. Familiarity with version control systems like TFS or Git. Practical experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Offer: Start date 01/12/2026, duration 7 months (with possible extension), full-time work regime, location Schaarbeek, hybrid working model (remote work possible), contract open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
