Eisen
- Minimum 10 years of planning and scheduling experience in mining, heavy industrial, or large capital project environments
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard development and data visualization

- Experience integrating contractor schedules into master project programs

Omschrijving
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Planner/Scheduler to support the planning, scheduling, execution, and reporting of underground sustaining capital and project initiatives. Reporting to the Superintendent, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining integrated project schedules, tracking progress, identifying risks, and supporting project delivery through data-driven reporting and forecasting.
Responsibilities include: developing, maintaining, and updating detailed project schedules using Primavera P6; supporting planning and execution of underground sustaining capital and small project portfolios; building and maintaining project work breakdown structures, resource loading, logic links, and critical path analysis; collaborating with project managers, engineers, maintenance teams, operations personnel, and contractors; conducting schedule risk assessments; monitoring project progress and performing schedule variance analysis; developing schedule performance dashboards using Power BI; producing weekly and monthly project controls reports, milestone tracking reports, and executive summaries; supporting forecasting of labour, equipment, and contractor resources; participating in look-ahead planning sessions and project review meetings; tracking and reporting changes, delays, and schedule impacts; ensuring compliance with client project controls standards and governance requirements; supporting project stage-gate reviews and approval processes; assisting with budgeting, earned value reporting, and KPI development; facilitating communication between underground operations, project teams, engineering, and construction groups.
Working conditions: primarily site-based; regular interaction with underground operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractor teams; exposure to active mining and construction environments; travel to underground work areas required; camp accommodations and meals provided.
Success looks like: accurate and reliable project schedules; improved schedule visibility through Power BI reporting; proactive identification and mitigation of schedule risks; on-time delivery of underground sustaining capital and small project initiatives; effective collaboration across operations, engineering, and project teams; consistent adherence to client safety and project governance standards.
