Senior Process Engineer - Investments

A major Belgian bank in Brussels is accelerating the digitalisation of its investment offer while running several regulatory projects. It needs a Senior Process Engineer for its investment and financial-insurance domain, working on the end-to-end Execution Only processes for all clients.

Responsibilities: Define and implement new business processes within the bank's business-architecture principles and strategy; Adjust and continuously improve existing processes for customer satisfaction, efficiency and risk; Contribute to application change needs and testing where processes are affected; Monitor existing processes against key indicators and customer complaints, and identify improvements; Document processes so operations can standardise work and resolve incidents; Ensure processes and documentation comply with legal, compliance and control guidelines; Guide change: identify needs, run the change steps and support users after go-live; Work with business and IT partners during ideation so chosen solutions fit customer and employee needs.

Business experience: Invest or banking business context (Mandatory), Methods and techniques of process improvement (Senior 2-5 years, Mandatory), Risk management and control (Mandatory), Business architecture (Preferable).

Functional experience: End-to-end business process design, adjustment and documentation (Senior 2-5 years, Mandatory), Process monitoring through key indicators, complaints and incidents (Mandatory), Change management and user support after process go-live (Mandatory), Agile delivery alongside business and IT partners (Mandatory).

Technical experience: Tools specific to process management (Mandatory), Automation (IT and robotisation) and data management (Preferable).

Language requirements: Dutch (Fluent speaking, reading, writing, Mandatory), French (Good, Mandatory), English (Good, Mandatory).

Soft skills: Excellent analysis skills and ability to structure and model; Efficient facilitator and communicator (oral and written); Can convince, influence and negotiate; Driven and tenacious in finding creative solutions; Customer-oriented and a team player. Start date 2026-10-05, duration 12 months, estimated daily rate 620-760 EUR. Location Brussels (5 min walk from Central Station), hybrid ~50% on site / 50% homeworking, remote/telework from Belgium only.
