A major Belgian bank in Brussels needs a Senior Process Expert for its Payment Excellence Lab inside Cash Management. You raise international and FX payments from operational reliability toward industry leadership — remove root-cause friction from pre-validation through post-processing, align cross-border stakeholders and correspondents, and pioneer process, tech or AI-driven improvements so flows are faster, more accurate and straight-through.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Payment Excellence Lab initiatives that remove friction in international and FX payment flows
- Orchestrate seamless collaboration across bank teams and external correspondents on cross-border payments
- Design and improve processes with modelling tools, analytics and a clear IT-architecture view
- Deliver on-time, in-scope improvements from pre-validation through post-processing toward STP
- Explore process, technology and AI-driven solutions that raise speed, accuracy and client satisfaction
- Share knowledge, negotiate priorities and keep stakeholders aligned while driving change
Estimated daily rate (EUR): 620 - 740 (Rivant market estimates for guidance — not a client rate card). Location detail: Brussels (5 min walk from Central Station) - hybrid ~50% on site / 50% homeworking. Occasional travel to Paris. Remote/telework from Belgium only.
