For our client Equigy, we are looking for a Senior Program Manager (Technology & Transformation). This assignment is suitable for an independent contractor (ZZP). Applications can be submitted until 8 October, 12:00 PM. Equigy Platform Resilience, Delivery and Governance Enhancement Programme. Following recent operational events, Equigy has initiated a programme to strengthen the resilience, delivery capabilities, and governance of its flexibility platform.

The programme aims to ensure that the platform remains fit for future growth, evolving business needs, the onboarding of additional TSOs and market participants, and changing market and operational requirements. Delivery frameworks, roadmap capabilities, governance arrangements, and supporting practices will be further developed and enhanced to support the long-term sustainability, reliability, and evolution of the Equigy platform. The objective of the sub-assignment is to provide delivery coordination, roadmap management, and project governance services in support of the Equigy Platform Resilience, Delivery and Governance Enhancement Programme.

In particular, the following activities will be carried out: effective coordination and execution across business, operational, and technical workstreams; assistance with optimisation and development the current and future CBP roadmap; support with management and development of Portfolio Management of the CBP platform including Technology, Market demand, TSO demand and statutory requirements; support with establishment and maintenance project governance and reporting structures; coordinate activities between stakeholders, vendors, internal teams, and external partners; track project progress, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues; support planning and execution of crisis-related recovery and stabilization initiatives; facilitate decision-making processes by ensuring timely escalation of risks and impediments; make sure of alignment between architecture, operational, and business objectives; monitor delivery against agreed timelines and priorities; support resource planning and capacity management.

The expected outcomes are: successful coordination and execution of recovery and stabilization initiatives following the IBM data centre incident; improved project governance, reporting, and stakeholder alignment across business, technology, and operational teams; improved management of project risks, dependencies, resources, and delivery priorities; enhanced portfolio management and roadmap development for the Crowd Balancing Platform; transparent decision-making and reporting to support timely issue resolution and progress monitoring; continued alignment of platform development activities with Equigy's strategic, operational, and regulatory objectives.

The defined deliverables are: provide transparent reporting on project status, key achievements, risks, and mitigation actions.

Requirements: minimum 10+ years of experience in project delivery, program management, change management, or operational leadership roles within complex digital and technology environments; proven experience leading cross-functional project delivery, governance, stakeholder management, and organizational change initiatives across business, technology, and operational teams; demonstrated expertise in crisis management, operational recovery, risk management, and dependency coordination during business-critical incidents or transformation programs; strong experience establishing and maintaining project governance frameworks, reporting structures, portfolio management processes, and performance monitoring mechanisms; proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams while ensuring alignment with strategic, operational, and business objectives; strong understanding of project portfolio management, roadmap development, resource planning, delivery assurance, and continuous improvement practices.

Preferences: prior experience with data-driven digital platform environments; 15+ years of experience delivering large-scale digital transformation, technology modernization, and organizational change programs; experience operating in mission-critical environments requiring executive-level stakeholder management, operational resilience, and rapid decision-making; proven track record of driving adoption of new governance models, performance frameworks, operating processes, and ways of working across global organizations.

The current sub-assignment is expected to continue until 31 December 2026 may be extended, subject to project requirements, continued need for the agreed deliverables, and mutual agreement between the parties. The estimated effort, based on the agreed project deliverables and milestones, is currently approximately 4.5 days per week. The required level of engagement may vary depending on project needs and may increase up to full-time capacity where necessary.
