Senior Program Manager – Traffic & Incident Management Systems

Our client, a prominent organization in the transportation and logistics sector, is seeking a strategic leader to oversee a complex IT program. This role involves managing the full program lifecycle while directly steering a specific project to ensure alignment across multiple technical and business workstreams.

Responsibilities: Manage the full lifecycle of the IT program, including roadmap definition, budget management, and success criteria. Lead the end-to-end delivery of a specific project within the program, maintaining direct responsibility for scope and milestones. Establish program governance structures, including steering committees, reporting mechanisms, and escalation processes. Monitor dependencies between projects, teams, and external suppliers to proactively address risks and delivery conflicts.

Coordinate day-to-day activities with project teams to ensure business, functional, and security aspects remain aligned. Provide regular status updates to senior management and facilitate timely decision-making for critical program issues. Support the transition of project deliverables to operational and support teams.

Requirements: You have 8+ years of experience in IT project and program management. You bring 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst. You possess 1+ year of experience with traffic management or incident management systems within operational environments such as railway, aviation, or logistics. You're experienced in coordinating multiple interdependent workstreams and managing program-level governance. You have a proven track record in budget forecasting, financial reporting, and resource management.

You possess a Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field. You are proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of managing complex stakeholder relationships. You are fluent in English with professional proficiency in French or Dutch.

Nice to Haves: Experience managing large-scale vendor relationships and external technical suppliers.
