Senior Project Engineer - Process & Rotating Packages

This is a vacancy for a Senior Project Engineer - Process & Rotating Packages in the petrochemical sector. The role plays a leading part in the design, development and improvement of a plant, working closely together on the largest projects with a team of experts to provide efficient and sustainable solutions that meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities include: lead and coordinate technical and administrative activities within complex projects, ensuring project objectives are delivered safely, efficiently, within budget and according to schedule; develop and manage project plans, schedules and budgets; coordinate multidisciplinary activities between engineering, procurement and construction teams; conduct and oversee technical evaluations, risk assessments and feasibility studies; monitor project progress and implement corrective actions; lead the review of technical documentation; act as key point of contact for clients, contractors and external stakeholders; provide technical leadership and guidance to the project engineering team and mentor junior engineers; support effective management of contractual changes, costs, budgets, risks, planning and third-party relationships.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent; minimum of 10 years of experience in project engineering within the oil & gas industry; proven experience with process and rotating equipment packages; strong experience in coordinating multidisciplinary activities; strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills; good understanding of project management principles; strong commercial acumen; experience with subcontracting and negotiations; proficiency in project management software; strong analytical and technical skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and international project environment.
