Senior Project Manager

The Company: Our client is one of the leads from the Biotechnology industry who try to improve patients’ lives, by distributing their medicines to hospital and pharmacies in 100 different countries in the world, to over 10 million patients, in Europe, Turkey, Middle East and Africa Regions.

Job Description: As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead complex manufacturing technology and digital innovation projects from planning and design through implementation, validation, and operational handover. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and technology stakeholders to deliver automation, MES, IT/OT, digital manufacturing, and data-driven solutions within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities: Lead construction and installation of manufacturing technology and digital projects from initial planning to operational launch. Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource needs. Develop detailed project plans, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and decision points. Manage project execution, monitor progress, and communicate with stakeholders to align expectations. Oversee the deployment of automation systems, data platforms, and digital manufacturing solutions.

Coordinate requirements gathering, design reviews, testing, validation, and system qualification processes. Ensure technical solutions meet business needs and adhere to site standards and enterprise architecture. Manage external vendors, system integrators, and internal teams through workshops, reviews, and governance meetings. Provide clear status updates, escalate issues when necessary, and develop risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Manufacturing Systems, Information Technology, or a related field. Over 10 years of project management experience within manufacturing technology, automation, or digital solutions. Proven track record of delivering projects through design, implementation, validation, and operational handover. Experience working within regulated manufacturing environments. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Ability to lead cross-functional and matrix teams effectively. Fluency in English.
