Senior QA Specialist – Quality Systems & Process Improvement

The company is a leading organisation within the food production industry, operating in a complex manufacturing environment with a strong focus on quality, compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. As a Senior QA Specialist – Quality Systems & Process Improvement, you will strengthen and optimise quality systems, processes, and documentation within a dynamic production environment. You will play a key role in supporting the organisation during an SAP system transition while driving improvements across Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities include: identifying, initiating, and implementing quality and process improvement initiatives within QA; optimising quality management systems and document control processes, including the Document Management System (DMS); supporting the QA organisation throughout the SAP system implementation and transition; coordinating QA activities across multiple departments and ensuring effective collaboration; working closely with Production, Technology, R&D, and other supporting functions; advising stakeholders on quality-related matters, process improvements, and compliance; identifying risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities within existing processes; translating findings into structured action plans and ensuring effective implementation; and supporting the further professionalisation and standardisation of quality processes.

Requirements: a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO) in a relevant discipline; extensive experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within a regulated food production or manufacturing environment; strong knowledge of quality management systems, document management, and process optimisation; experience supporting system implementations or transitions, preferably involving SAP; excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently; strong analytical skills and a broad overview of cross-functional processes; a proactive, pragmatic, and results-oriented approach; excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; and the ability to manage competing priorities and guide teams through change.
