Senior Quality Assurance Engineer – Playwright & TypeScript

The client, a major organization in the transportation and logistics sector, is looking for an experienced quality professional to join their testing chapter. The role focuses on ensuring the excellence of critical resource planning systems that manage operational personnel and assets across a large-scale network.

Responsibilities: drive the quality control lifecycle within an Agile-Scrum framework for complex resource management projects; analyze requirements, user stories, and features to ensure comprehensive test coverage; lead test automation efforts and coordinate testing activities across cross-functional teams; execute extensive interface and integration testing to maintain system stability; utilize advanced test management tools to track progress and report quality metrics; implement innovative testing methodologies, including AI-driven tools, to optimize quality and efficiency.

Requirements: 8+ years of professional experience in software testing; 3+ years of experience testing operational planning or complex resource management systems; hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript for automated testing; expertise in Postman, SOAP, REST, and SQL for interface and integration testing; deep knowledge of test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Xray, and Confluence; working knowledge of GitHub, SAP HR, and RailML; certified in ISTQB Foundation and ITIL Foundation; skilled in requirements engineering and the analysis of user stories and features; fluent in English with C1 level proficiency in Dutch or French.

Nice to haves: experience using AI tools to enhance the efficiency of testing activities; formal training in requirements engineering.

Offer: start date 01/12/2026; duration project until 30/11/2028; work regime full-time; location Brussels; working model hybrid (onsite presence up to 5 days per week depending on project requirements); contract open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
