Senior React Native developer

For a organisation based in South Holland, we are looking for an experienced Senior React Native Developer. You will join a professional development environment, working on modern mobile applications used by a large number of users. As a Senior React Native Developer, you will be responsible for developing, improving and maintaining mobile applications. You will work closely with other developers, UX/UI specialists and stakeholders within the team.

Your responsibilities will include: developing mobile applications using React Native, working extensively with TypeScript and modern JavaScript technologies, building scalable and maintainable solutions, integrating APIs and backend services, developing and deploying solutions within a cloud environment, contributing to technical architecture and development standards, performing code reviews and maintaining high code quality, testing, optimising and improving existing functionality, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary Agile/Scrum team.

What are we looking for? Strong professional experience with React Native, excellent knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript, experience developing mobile applications for iOS and Android, experience with REST APIs and integrations, experience working within a modern cloud environment such as AWS or Azure, knowledge of CI/CD and automated deployment processes (a plus), experience with testing and modern software engineering principles, ability to work independently and contribute to technical decisions, and strong communication skills.

Practical information: Location South Holland, the Netherlands; Hybrid: 1 day per week on-site; Contract duration: 6 months with possibility of extension; Contract type: Secondment / employment-based contracting; Hours: 32–40 hours per week; Start date: As soon as possible / to be discussed.
