Our client, a leading organization in the transport sector, is looking for an expert developer to drive the creation of high-performance mobile solutions. The role focuses on building scalable cross-platform applications and integrating complex e-commerce features for their mobile platforms. The successful candidate will play a key part in architectural decisions and technical mentoring.

Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications using React Native. Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable components for iOS and Android. Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into mobile applications. Implement state management using technologies such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API, or Zustand. Optimize application performance, responsiveness, memory usage, and startup time. Mentor developers and contribute to technical design and architectural decisions.

Support application releases and deployments to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Requirements: You have 10+ years of experience as a React Native developer building scalable, high-performance mobile applications. You possess 5+ years of experience within an Agile/Scrum development context. You bring 5+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins. You have 3+ years of experience in the public transport domain. You bring 3+ years of experience in developing or maintaining e-commerce applications.

You have extensive knowledge of state management using Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API, or Zustand. You possess experience with RESTful API integration and mobile application architecture. You have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across iOS and Android. You're proactive and possess strong mentoring skills. You are fluent in English at a C1 level.

Nice to Haves: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.

Offer: Start date: 01/01/2027.

Duration: project length until 31/12/2029.

Work regime: Full-time.

Location: Brussels.
