Senior SAP Authorization Consultant – S/4HANA & GRC

Our client, a leading organization in the transport and logistics sector, is seeking a Senior SAP Authorization Consultant to manage role-based security and authorizations across their extensive SAP landscape. This role combines operational support for existing environments with strategic contributions to a major S/4HANA implementation project to ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include: managing role-based security and user administration across various systems including SAP ECC, BW, CRM, and SuccessFactors; resolving authorization-related incidents and coordinating security tasks with cross-functional SAP teams; analyzing access risks and maintaining Segregation of Duties (SoD) using GRC frameworks; designing, maintaining, and testing SAP roles and configuring Fiori Launchpad catalogs for migration projects; supporting internal and external audits by performing periodic security checks and generating compliance reports; collaborating with business process owners to translate functional requirements into secure authorization concepts.

Requirements: 8+ years experience in SAP authorization management, including role design, user administration, and access control; 2+ years experience in SAP S/4HANA security architecture; 2+ years experience with SAP Fiori authorization concepts and catalog configuration; 1+ year experience with Segregation of Duties (SoD) and compliance requirements; experience with SAP IDM or SAP Cloud IAG for business role assignments; experience using ServiceNow or JIRA for incident and change management; strong communication skills; fluent in English with professional knowledge of Dutch and/or French.

Nice to haves: hands-on experience with SAP GRC Access Control; knowledge of SAP BTP Administration or SAP BTP Security.
