Senior SAP IBP Consultant

Senior SAP IBP Consultant (freelance/contract) for a 9-month assignment starting January 2027, based in Eindhoven (hybrid/remote), Industry: Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical / Manufacturing. Rate €800/hour. The client is looking for a Senior SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Consultant to support a large-scale supply chain transformation programme. The successful consultant will play a key role in designing, configuring and optimising SAP IBP solutions, working closely with business stakeholders across Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement and Manufacturing functions.

Key Responsibilities: lead the design and implementation of SAP IBP solutions across multiple planning streams; gather and translate business requirements into scalable SAP IBP solutions; configure and optimise SAP IBP modules including IBP Demand Planning, IBP Supply Planning, IBP Inventory Optimization, IBP Response & Supply, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP); facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and process owners; define planning processes, KPIs and solution roadmaps; integrate SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA, SAP APO and other enterprise systems; support testing activities including SIT, UAT and defect resolution; provide guidance on best practices for supply chain planning and forecasting; collaborate with technical teams on integration, data modelling and reporting requirements; mentor junior consultants and provide subject matter expertise across the programme.

Required Experience: 8+ years of SAP Supply Chain Planning experience; 4+ years of hands-on SAP IBP implementation experience; proven delivery experience in at least two end-to-end SAP IBP projects; strong knowledge of Demand Planning, Supply Planning and S&OP processes; experience designing planning models, master data and key figure structures; hands-on configuration experience within SAP IBP; strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills; experience integrating SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA environments; ability to work independently within international project teams; excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred Experience: experience within Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, FMCG or Manufacturing industries; SAP IBP Certification; knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC); experience with Control Tower and Supply Chain Visibility solutions; knowledge of SAP APO migration programmes; exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.
