Context for this Freelance mission: For our client in the Defence sector, we are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to join the Data Science Cell within the Royal Netherlands Air Force. Data Science is an important area of expertise within the Air Force and will continue to grow and develop. The Data Science Cell consists of four teams: one management/DevOps team and three product teams. As Scrum Master, you will support two teams and work together with another Scrum Master to continuously optimise team processes and collaboration.

Missions: Facilitate Scrum events; Monitor and promote Scrum principles and Agile ways of working; Identify and remove impediments; Coach teams, Product Owners and management on Agile and Scrum practices; Support the Product Owner with backlog management and prioritisation; Monitor sprint progress and team objectives; Promote effective communication with stakeholders; Protect teams from disruptions; Coordinate collaboration and dependencies between teams; Facilitate workshops, planning sessions and improvement initiatives; Analyse team performance and encourage continuous improvement; Support Agile transformations within the organisation; Report on progress, team health and process improvements; Contribute ideas and recommendations regarding the transition towards SAFe ways of working; Act as a link between the client’s IT department and the Capgemini account team; Proactively identify risks and opportunities towards the client and Capgemini account team; Help identify how available capacity and talent can best be allocated across different teams.

We are looking for someone who helps teams collaborate effectively and continuously improve. Strong communication skills, active listening, conflict resolution, empathy, persuasion and organisational sensitivity are important for this role. The ability to communicate effectively across different levels of the organisation is essential.

Technical environment: Scrum, Agile, SAFe, Data Science, DevOps.

Location: Prinsenbeek.

Contractduur: 2 jaar.
