Eisen
- Experience with the Serverless.com framework or similar tooling
- Strong senior-level experience with TypeScript and Node.js
- Comfortable working with SQL and relational databases (Postgres)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
- Proven expertise with AWS serverless services (Lambda, DynamoDB, Batch)

Omschrijving
Senior Software Engineer – AWS / TypeScript / Serverless. Freelance role for a large, well-established Dutch organisation playing a central role in a rapidly evolving industry, with millions of end customers and strong digital focus. You'll join a compact, international team responsible for core application services and operational data processing, going through an exciting phase with growing scope, evolving tech stack, and a push toward structured ways of working. Culture is relaxed, delivery-driven and English-speaking. Core tasks: take ownership of backend services, design, develop and deploy serverless applications on AWS, write clean and testable TypeScript, keep production services reliable. The team is transitioning from reactive, operations-focused setup to more structured working, and you'll play a key role by showing what good looks like, sharing knowledge, contributing to architectural decisions, and spreading ownership. Must-haves: strong senior-level experience with TypeScript and Node.js; proven expertise with AWS serverless services (Lambda, DynamoDB, Batch); experience with Serverless.com framework or similar; hands-on CI/CD and automated testing; comfortable with SQL and relational databases (Postgres); a track record of improving team practices; seniority in communication. Nice to have: experience with CRM integrations, familiarity with React or frontend development, experience in Agile/Kanban teams with DevOps responsibility. Offer: start before July 2026, duration 12 months with intention to extend, 36-40 hours per week, rate to be discussed, hybrid max 2 days on-site, freelance/ZZP contract.
