Senior Solution Architect – Sovereign AI Platform. AI, Architecture & Platform Engineering. Utrecht / Hybrid. Secondment. For a large financial organization, we are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to help design and evolve a next-generation Sovereign AI Platform. In this role, you will shape the architectural direction of a secure, resilient and scalable AI platform that enables teams across the organization to develop AI products responsibly and at enterprise scale. The focus is on Agentic AI, platform architecture, security, compliance, sovereignty and reusable capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Design and evolve a scalable Sovereign AI Platform for enterprise use; Define architectural building blocks and integration patterns for Agentic AI solutions; Translate complex platform and AI challenges into clear architecture choices and roadmaps; Balance innovation with security, compliance, resilience and operational excellence; Collaborate with platform engineers, data teams, security specialists and business stakeholders; Enable development teams through reusable platform capabilities, standards and guardrails; Drive alignment across teams and domains to support scalable platform growth; Contribute to architecture governance and strategic decision-making. Required Skills & Experience: Senior experience as a Solution Architect in complex enterprise environments; Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and containerized platforms; Experience with platform design, software engineering best practices and architecture governance; Knowledge of data integration patterns for structured and unstructured data; Understanding of enterprise security, compliance, resilience and sovereignty requirements; Experience designing or operating large-scale enterprise platforms; Affinity with Agentic AI, AI orchestration, AI governance or evaluation frameworks; Strong communication skills in English; Ability to make complex architecture topics clear and actionable for different stakeholders. Nice to Have: Experience with Agentic AI frameworks or orchestration platforms; Experience with AI governance, responsible AI or trustworthy AI patterns; Experience with evaluation harnesses or platform guardrails for AI solutions; Experience in financial services or another highly regulated enterprise environment; Experience mentoring architects, engineers or cross-functional teams; Experience shaping architecture roadmaps for strategic platform initiatives.
