Eisen
- 5–10 years of experience within the Oil & Gas or offshore engineering industry
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced project environment
- Strong background in detailed design, including offshore structures, topsides, and/or plant layout
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Ability to interpret and apply international codes, industry standards, and safety/environmental regulations
- Familiarity with engineering design and calculation tools, package engineering processes, and manufacturing interfaces
- Only local candidates based in the Netherlands are eligible
- Proven hands-on experience with AVEVA E3D (3D detailed design and modelling)
- Availability to start as soon as possible
- Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills with a proactive and structured working approach

Omschrijving
As an Engineer in the petrochemical sector, you play a leading role in the design, development and improvement of a plant and you work closely together on the largest projects. Together with a team of experts, you will provide efficient and sustainable solutions that meet the highest standards. Responsibilities include developing detailed engineering design solutions that meet high standards for safety, reliability, and sustainability within complex offshore or energy infrastructure projects; selecting appropriate design methods, procedures, and technical approaches in alignment with applicable project specifications, international codes, and industry regulations; producing clear and accurate technical drawings and 3D models using advanced design software (including E3D); collaborating closely with engineers, other designers, and lead designers; planning, prioritizing, and delivering assigned design activities within agreed project timelines; identifying and escalating technical or schedule-related issues; applying lessons learned; coordinating with package engineers to review vendor documentation; and taking ownership of assigned scope, contributing to or leading design workstreams. Requirements include an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, 5-10 years of experience in Oil & Gas or offshore engineering, mandatory hands-on experience with AVEVA E3D, a strong background in detailed design (offshore structures, topsides, plant layout; FPSO experience an advantage), familiarity with engineering design and calculation tools, ability to interpret international codes, strong planning and coordination skills, knowledge of safety and human factors principles (preferred), ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, eligibility only for local candidates based in the Netherlands, and availability to start as soon as possible.
