Senior Supply Chain Planner & SAP Systems Specialist

The company: Our client is a leading international organisation operating within a professional and dynamic logistics and manufacturing environment. Role Description: As a Senior Supply Chain Planner & SAP Systems Specialist, you will play a key role within the Planning & Logistics team at the Lochem site. You will combine supply chain planning expertise with strong SAP systems knowledge, acting as a key user for SAP, including Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Operational Manufacturing Planning (OMP). You will provide functional support to the planning and logistics organisation, help resolve complex operational and system-related issues, and contribute to improvements across planning and logistics processes.

Where required, you will also provide backup support to the Planning & Logistics Manager and production schedulers. Responsibilities include acting as the key user for SAP (EWM, OMP) with connections to MES systems; providing functional support and guidance on complex SAP, EWM, OMP, and MES-related issues; supporting the logistics and planning department with day-to-day operational topics and supply chain issues; analysing operational and logistics processes for improvement; contributing to process improvements; providing backup support to the Planning & Logistics Manager and production schedulers; working closely with internal stakeholders; supporting users with SAP and Microsoft Office; and contributing to a collaborative environment.

Requirements include HBO/WO working and thinking level, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Technical Business Administration or a related discipline; affinity with process manufacturing or the food industry is required, with dairy industry experience an advantage; extensive knowledge and practical experience with SAP, particularly EWM and OMP; experience with MES or integrated manufacturing planning systems is advantageous; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to implement process improvements; good knowledge of Microsoft Office; strong communication and stakeholder-management skills; team-oriented, flexible, and able to remain effective in a dynamic and sometimes stressful operational environment; and a proactive, entrepreneurial, critical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
