Senior System Architect / Devops Architect

Brainbridge IT Staffing is looking for a Senior System Architect – Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to design and evolve an integrated ecosystem of tools and processes supporting end-to-end software delivery. From functional and technical analysis through data modelling, development, testing, deployment and release, you ensure that all stages of the software lifecycle are integrated, automated and user-centric. Your objective is to remove friction, simplify complexity and reduce administrative overhead, enabling engineers and analysts to focus on delivering value.

The role sits at the intersection of technology, process improvement, risk governance and AI innovation within a large-scale IT organisation. Key responsibilities include SDLC Architecture & Integration (design and own the target architecture for SDLC tooling, ensure end-to-end integration, bridge the gap between process managers and tooling owners, drive standardisation, participate in solution planning), Architectural Runway & Agile Delivery (plan and develop architectural runway, work with Agile teams, support continuous delivery pipeline, collaborate with portfolio stakeholders), Automation, AI & Compliance (eliminate manual evidence logging through automation, embed traceability and compliance, introduce AI to automate lifecycle activities, streamline processes), and Developer Experience & Collaboration (improve developer experience, enable engineers and analysts, align process managers, communicate architectural choices).

Required profile: more than five years of experience designing and implementing system architecture, strong experience in system or solution architecture, deep understanding of SDLC and DevOps practices, experience with development tooling and CI/CD, an interest in AI-driven automation, strong stakeholder management and communication skills, a passion for building robust solutions using new technologies.
