Eisen

  • 8+ years of expertise in backend development and messaging using C++, Python, and MQTT.

Pauwels Consulting is recruiting a Senior Technical Lead (C++ & Python) for a client in the public transport sector. The role focuses on digitalizing the vehicle fleet, integrating modern hardware and software components within a complex vehicle platform. Responsibilities include providing technical leadership for integration of new and legacy on-board systems, evaluating external software vendors, designing technical analyses for multi-vendor integrations, overseeing implementation of microservices and event-driven architectures, bridging hardware and software teams, and ensuring code quality.

Requirements: 8+ years as Technical Lead, Solution Architect, or Senior Software Developer; 8+ years in backend development with C++, Python, and MQTT; extensive knowledge of Linux and containerization; deep understanding of APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture; experience steering external software suppliers; proven experience in multi-vendor system integration; experience documenting technical analyses; fluency in Dutch (C2) and knowledge of English.

Nice to haves: in-depth hardware knowledge, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code quality metrics.
