Senior UX Researcher – hybride Amsterdam, 36-40 uur per week, freelance opdracht van 12 maanden.

Over de rol: We're looking for a Senior UX Researcher to help create more inclusive and accessible travel experiences for all users. In this role, you'll lead end-to-end research initiatives that shape strategic product decisions and improve digital accessibility across customer journeys. You'll work closely with product managers, designers, engineers and business stakeholders to uncover insights that drive meaningful impact for travellers with diverse needs.

This is an opportunity to combine research excellence, accessibility expertise and strategic influence in a role where your work directly contributes to making travel more accessible for everyone.

Wat je gaat doen: Lead complex qualitative, quantitative and mixed-method research projects; define long-term research programmes aligned with business priorities; translate ambiguous business questions into actionable research plans; conduct accessibility-focused user research and usability testing; synthesize findings from multiple data sources to generate strategic insights; guide teams on research methodologies and inclusive research practices; partner with Product, Design, Data and Customer Experience teams; mentor researchers and contribute to research excellence across the organisation; communicate insights effectively to both operational and executive stakeholders; support evidence-based product and service decisions.

Wat je meebrengt: Master's degree or equivalent experience in HCI, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Sociology or a related field; 5-8+ years of UX, Customer or User Research experience; strong expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods; experience delivering strategic research programmes; excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; proven ability to influence business and product decisions through research; knowledge of GDPR, research ethics and data compliance; passion for accessibility, inclusion and user-centred design.
