Omschrijving
The goal of the Senior Workspace Specialist Events & Soft Services is to manage the flawless and timely execution of all tasks that relate to the Real Estate and Workspace Services purpose, specifically relating to business partnering, community building and Supplier steering. Building a positive employee experience for HQ, Amsterdam and Manchester, is a key goal of this role. This role will foster an environment where employees feel valued and recognized for the part they play in the Booking.com story. As a Senior Workspace Specialist Events & Soft Services you work on all topics within the areas of Events, and Soft Services and you are part of the Workspace Specialist Team HQ. Key job responsibilities and duties include: ensuring all Workspace Services processes are regularly reviewed, updated, and compliant with regulations and organizational needs; overseeing operational supplier management, ensuring contracted services are delivered as agreed and addressing any performance issues; acting as a subject matter expert and providing operational support across REWS-led projects; driving demand and stakeholder management by using data insights and employee feedback; collaborating with stakeholders, Community and Events teams, and local committees to plan and support inclusive social events; coordinating with security and ERO teams to maintain up-to-date safety processes; leading effective communication with HQ stakeholders, managing escalations, promoting wellbeing and sustainability initiatives. The role requires a strong on-site presence, with an expectation to work from the office at least four days per week. Qualifications include: previous experience in events, soft services and vendor management is required; effective communication skills; strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities; proven event planning and delivery experience; expertise in change management; demonstrated empathy and commitment to inclusivity; solid analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
