Shift Manager

Role Description: We are looking for a proactive Shift Manager to lead daily production activities and a team of employees. You will be responsible for safety, quality, production performance, hygiene, and continuous improvement, while coaching your team and ensuring smooth shift handovers.

Responsibilities: Lead, train, coach, and motivate the production team. Take responsibility for safety, quality, quantity, hygiene, and technology. Ensure production planning and targets are achieved. Prioritise technical work and coordinate with relevant teams. Analyse production issues and complaints using root-cause analysis. Drive continuous improvement using 5S, Lean, PDCA, and 5xW. Ensure proper shift handovers and support work instructions.

Apply HACCP, Food Defense, and safety procedures. Lead by example and work in a 3-shift pattern.

Requirements: HBO-level education or equivalent working/thinking level. Strong leadership and people-management skills. Minimum 3 years’ production experience, preferably in a similar role. Experience with Lean, 5S, PDCA, and 5xW. Knowledge of HACCP, Food Defense, and safety. Food industry experience is an advantage. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Willingness to work in a 3-shift pattern.
