Omschrijving
A leading industrial manufacturing organization focused on operational excellence, workplace safety, and continuous improvement is seeking a proactive Shift Supervisor to lead production operations during assigned shifts. This role is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and team performance while maintaining smooth day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will coach team members, coordinate activities, and drive continuous improvement across the production environment. Responsibilities include leading and supervising production teams during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, hygiene, and operational standards, monitoring production schedules and ensuring targets are achieved, coordinating and prioritizing technical activities to reduce downtime, investigating production issues and implementing corrective actions, taking ownership of shift performance and operational results, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to employees, ensuring effective shift handovers and accurate documentation, supporting the development and revision of work instructions, and promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and professionalism. Requirements include previous supervisory or team leadership experience within manufacturing or industrial operations, strong understanding of safety and quality standards, excellent communication and people management skills, ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions, experience working with production planning and operational targets, strong organizational and decision-making skills, commitment to continuous improvement initiatives, and ability to motivate and develop team members.
