Omschrijving
We are currently seeking an experienced Short Term Planner to join a tier one mining organisation supporting a major fixed plant operation in the Pilbara. This is a maintenance planning position supporting fixed plant reliability, statutory compliance and project delivery. With an early September start to facilitate a handover, the role will suit an electrical maintenance planner who can take ownership of work through to execution readiness. The successful candidate will work closely with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering and Project teams to ensure electrical maintenance activities are appropriately scoped, planned, budgeted, resourced and ready for safe and efficient execution. This is a contract opportunity through to January 2027, offering $78-$90 per hour + superannuation, depending on experience. Residential arrangements are available, with a 5/2, 4/3 FIFO roster from Perth also considered for the right candidate. Key responsibilities include developing detailed electrical maintenance plans and execution-ready work packs, ensuring labour, materials, tooling, contractor services and supporting documentation are available ahead of scheduled work, integrating engineering and project requirements into maintenance plans, preparing maintenance forecasts, budgets and cost estimates, monitoring maintenance expenditure, utilising forecasting tools, ensuring planned electrical work meets statutory, regulatory and site compliance requirements, driving planning quality, reviewing equipment performance, participating in planning and scheduling meetings, monitoring planned versus actual performance, and building strong working relationships. Essential skills: Electrical Trade Qualification (essential), minimum 3-5 years' maintenance planning experience, minimum 2 years' experience within mining operations (essential), demonstrated experience within fixed plant maintenance environments, strong knowledge of electrical compliance and statutory maintenance requirements, proven experience with maintenance budgeting, forecasting and cost control, strong working knowledge of SAP and Prometheus maintenance systems, experience using forecasting and cost management tools, sound understanding of maintenance work management processes, experience supporting engineers and project teams, strong attention to detail, high level of accountability, strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, and a demonstrated commitment to safety, reliability and continuous improvement. The offer includes contract through to January 2027, $78-$90 per hour + superannuation, residential or FIFO from Perth on a 5/2, 4/3 roster, salary sacrificing, Employee Assistance Program, and corporate discounts.
